We continue the series of improvements and bring you three new playful topic shapes, which you will find in the context menu of each topic. The cloud shape, useful when you feel inspired and want to mark down a great idea. The speech bubble shape, if you feel like giving a voice to your thoughts. The speech bubble outline shape – for whenever you have a brilliant view that needs to be shared. We hope you will find the new shapes entertaining and you will create enjoyable mind maps. Did you know that it’s now possible to add a hyperlink to a certain word or phrase in your topic? Doing this is very simple and it will help you gather more information in one place. Let’s say you want to make a list for your next camping trip, your mind map would look like this: At some point, you might stumble upon some great sales for double tents in an online shop. Until now, you were able to add only one link to a topic. Now, because you can add a link per word on a topic, you can actually add multiple links to the same topic. For quite some time now, we received multiple requests from you regarding our search functionality. So, we’ve put ourselves to work and made some major improvements, try the new Search from the upper right side of your Dashboard. What’s new? 1. The search goes through all mind maps, both private and public, and their content. For example, you want to access a map where you put down this week’s to-do list but you can’t remember the title. However, you know that ‘grocery shopping’ was in the mind map. All you have to do is type in ‘grocery’ in the Search bar. We recently updated our Microsoft Word (DOCX) export. Please see below how it works. 1. The central topic becomes the title of the exported document and will appear at the top with a bigger font size. Your main topics and subtopics will be listed in a headings hierarchy up until the 4th level. After the 4th level, all the subtopics will be listed as normal text with indentation. Notes are exported exactly as they are in the mind map (keeping their stylings such as bulleting, numbering, font size, and color). 2.
