We’re excited to announce that our new and refreshed Share panel is now online. Our goal with this newly designed sharing functionality was to offer the easiest experience you can get when it comes to sharing your work with others. We hope you’ll find the new design to be uncluttered and more user-friendly. So, what’s new? The first change you’ll notice when you open the Share panel is that we included the password protection right there, in the top left side. Simply click on Password, then set a password for your map. By clicking on More you will get the link to Embed the map, use it as RSS or HTML, etc. Link sharing was simplified too, you have all the options in one page: you can make your mind…

We are continuously working to improve our tool, that’s why we are happy to let you know that we implemented another highly requested feature: exporting the comments from your Task Maps. However, for the time being, this functionality is available only with the Text File (.txt) and Microsoft Word (.rtf) export formats. One of our popular online feature which gives you the possibility to create your own personalized map themes is now on Mindomo Desktop. With a premium Desktop license, you can now enjoy the comfort of creating your own themes where you can set the default font size, color, shape, background color, relationships on all topics from a certain level so that when a new topic is added on that level, it will be created with that formatting automatically. Our new assignment templates are meant to help students get started with mind mapping while completing assignments on various subjects: Maths, Language Arts, Science, Biology, Geography, Chemistry, etc. In order to use any of these templates, you need to click on the Create button from the Dashboard, then go to the Assignments section, choose the template you are interested in, add a new title if you want, and click on Create. Please note that you can filter your search based on subjects, grades, assignment titles, and languages. Once you create your own assignment using one of the templates from the gallery, both the description section and the teacher’s guidelines from the template will be cloned. So far, you were only able to share your mind maps in Mindomo if you were registered online. With our latest improvements, you are now able to share your local maps too. Share your maps with online users Use the improved ‘Sync & Save Online’ feature to save your local maps and all their attached files in the cloud.
